I was astonished looking at the drawings in this graphic novel, the artwork is exquisite! In this fascinating horror-sci fi story, you will learn what drives the universe, you will see scientists experiment on the Big Bang theory. You will meet a heroine named Sara, who looks up to her scientist father. 19 years later, Sara is a grown woman and she learns of the tragic death of her father. Sara goes through a transition, she rejects science after her father's death. But, things bring Sara back to science, especially when the super collider cools off and Sara wants to investigate her father's mysterious death. All kinds of mysterious things happen, she finds frogs stuck in an amber like substance, she has dreams of frogs, she finds the word 'Para" written on the wall. She encounters para-creatures, that seem to be drawn to her. There is talk about a parallel world and even strange things like a anti-quark generator. Throw in some high-tech robots and maybe some strangelets and the horizon unfolds with possible universal destruction and Sara is smack dab in the middle of all of this! Stuart Moore's Para is non-stop action with an intriguing premise, a great heroine named Sara and enough paranormal complications to keep you on the edge of your seat. Discovering a new story like Para is like finding buried treasure, the more you dig into the story, you get fistful of dobloons and jewels that fall into your lap! Para is a must read! www.jazmaonline.com |
