Comments: Have you ever heard of a cyclochronmeter? You haven't? Then pick up some back issues of The Victorian and learn what this incredible device is! There are some incredible time jumps within this story from Victorian times to the present times. The exciting locale for this story is New Orleans! A tantalizing taste of things that will transpire in this story is that a British nuclear submarine, the HMS Stormbringer was found off the coast of Louisiana. There is a huge double page picture of Christmas Eve festive events at the French Quarter and it's up to the reader to discover some key players to the story within that crowd. In the present time period, there is much wonder going on, such as apocalyptic weather (snow) and some strange Victorian walking around the streets. These strange events lead to a setting for a New World Order. It comes down to good v. evil. Danger lurks, especially when it is learned that the submarine in question has a computer mainframe that is linked to a vast network. Laszlo (the hero of this story) fights evil to the best of his ability. There is a devastating fight scene between Laszlo and Milo, especially when Laszlo's armor is short circuited. Sigurson Ashe who is a very bad man, receives some of the torment back on him, the torment that he has inflicted on others. The Victorian like all of Penny Farthing Press comic books, has great detailed artwork and the artwork goes with the story superbly! This is the final chapter to the Victorian, Len Wein sets this colossal story in motion for a climatic ending that paralyzes the senses!
