Houston, TX – March 19, 2008 – Penny-Farthing Press (PFP) returns for their second visit to New York Comic Con and unveils a bigger and better island booth. Since their inaugural attendance in 2007 was such a success, PFP is thrilled to again be a part of the fastest growing Con on the East Coast. Along with Con exclusives, PFP will be showcasing their first animated short, The Loch: Threats from Above. The animation is based on PFP’s critically acclaimed Loch Trilogy. Specially priced and packaged with a companion Loch comic book, it’s the not-to-be-missed bargain of the convention!
PFP is also proud to announce that they will be debuting The Victorian, Act IV: Self-Overcoming and The Victorian, Act V: Self-Exsoulment trade paperbacks at the Con. With the release of the final two graphic novels (out of five), the fans can finally look forward to completing their Victorian collections. These two graphic novels will wrap up the intricately woven story, created by Creative Director Trainor Houghton, and will both include exclusive behind-the-scenes collateral material that fans are sure to enjoy!
Throughout the weekend, PFP will have several signings at their booth (#1513). Stephen Vrattos, creator and author of the original Captain Gravity series and Joshua Dysart, author of Captain Gravity and the Power of the Vril, will be signing on Saturday, April 19, from 12 – 1 pm. Stuart Moore, creator and author of PARA, will be signing from 1 -2 pm. Also, on April 19, Marlaine Maddux and Courtney Huddleston, the creative team behind all the Loch books, comics and animation, will be signing from 3-4 pm.
